Battle Creek Public Schools told its students today [WEDS] they can qualify for a scholarship for up to 100 percent of tuition and fees at any four-year Michigan college or university.

Battle Creek officials met with Kellogg corporate leaders this morning to talk about the company's decision to split into three separate businesses, and what that will mean for the Cereal City.

Officials with the Michigan-based Kellogg's say the food giant is dividing itself into three separate companies.

14-hundred Kellogg union workers are considering to accept a tentative deal with the food giant as members of the Bakery, Confectionary, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers International Union walked off the job in early October.
