Monday through Thursday from 1pm to 4pm, Judy Wagley, brings a wide range of music to WCMU listeners. You'll hear classic recordings and new releases, “fun facts” about the music, and interviews with special guests who add their voices to the mix.

Dmitri Berlinsky, Professor of violin at Michigan State University, will be the guest soloist for The Lark Ascending by Ralph Vaughan Williams in “Take to the Sky” a concert presented by the Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra Saturday, April 23 at 7 p.m. at the Great Lakes Center for the Arts in Bay Harbor. The Gaylord Area Council for the Arts has launched a new platform for keeping northern Michigan connected to the arts. Executive director Lisamarie Tobin, talks with Judy about how “Arts Connect” will serve the region by providing a place where those seeking events, as well as those presenting events—can keep up to date. She also explains how the organization will continue to offer the virtual programs that kept artists’ creative juices flowing during the pandemic time.

It begins with a replica of the Portrait Monument to the Suffrage Pioneers, a statue on display at the Art Reach of Mid Michigan Gallery in Mount Pleasant until August 28, part of the 2021 Art Walk Central.
