The Michigan Court of Appeals recently reversed a lower court’s decision in the case of Alvin Yoder. Five years ago, Yoder died in an accident on his family's Amish farm in Clare County. In the 2-1 decision, the Court of Appeals argued that previous decisions did not carry enough legal weight to be conclusive and reopens the case for another appeal and the possibility of going to the Michigan Supreme Court.
