This week on "The Juke Joint" broadcast, Robert Barclay celebrated the birthday of BB King and played some honky tonk blues for Hank Williams' birthday. He also debuted new CDs by Tony Joe White, Colin James, Johnny Rawls, JW Jones and some zydeco by Joe Hall.

This week on Homespun, we dipped into the archives for some live recordings from Bill Monroe & Doc Watson, plus Bill with the Bluegrass Boys! We also heard new music from fiddler Paul Brown, Chris Smither and Mike Farris.

This week on "The Beat", David Nicholas had classics from Dexter Gordon on Blue Note and two Impulse! dates from John Coltrane and Max Roach, plus Grammy winning fusion from Chick Corea and John McLauglin!!
