This week on “Homespun”, we sampled the sounds of the Dobro with tracks from Mike Auldridge and Rob Ickes; heard the Gospel of The Songbirds of the South and The Angelic Gospel Singers, plus we looked back 50 years to 1970 with Paul McCartney's debut, and James Taylor's landmark LP "Sweet Baby James".


Sunday night on "The Juke Joint" broadcast, Robert Barclay celebrated the music of pianist Henry Gray, who died recently at the age of 95. We heard him with Howlin' Wolf, Billy Boy Arnold, Jimmy Reed, Little Walter, Jimmy Rogers, Taildragger, Bob Corritore, Taj Mahal and Whisperin' Smith.
