Although we’re still in fall foliage season, it’s not too soon to think about festivals taking place this winter in the UP, including events in Ishpeming and Hulbert.

The National Weather Service in Gaylord recently recorded nearly 186 inches of snow, breaking its previous seasonal snowfall record.

The city anticipates over 250 snowmobilers from across Michigan and neighboring states. Local leaders say the event is a huge boost for the local economy.
