Kristen McDonald-Rivet

Unofficial results say Democratic State Sen. Kristen McDonald Rivet has won the race to represent the cities of Flint, Midland, Bay City and Saginaw in the U.S. House of Representatives. She will replace U.S. Rep. Dan Kildee (D-Flint).

Michigan candidates are making their final case to voters. On Saturday, Democrat state Senator Kristen McDonald Rivet, who's running for congress in the district that represents the Tri-Cities and Fint, spoke in Midland.

The rally comes two years after the Dobbs decision and Proposition 3 codified abortion rights in the state.
