Newsroom InternCristin Coppess is a sophomore at Central Michigan University majoring in photojournalism with a double minor in multimedia design and leadership.
She hails from the Saginaw Bay area and is currently based in Mount Pleasant. Cristin’s favorite place in Michigan is Frankfort Beach, where she has visited frequently the past two summers.

For the last 30 years, the Cadillac Area Land Conservancy has worked to protect and preserve land across the state of Michigan. The conservancy partners with landowners to preserve their land for future generations. The nonprofit provides landowners with the resources they need to identify the value of their land and protect it.
