On Thursday, May 18, WCMU engineers will be performing maintenance on our transmitter for WCMU-FM, serving mid-Michigan at 89.5FM. For the safety of our workers, 89.5FM will be at reduced power for several hours, beginning around 7am.
This work affects only 89.5FM, and will not impact any of our other transmitters. Many listeners in mid-Michigan will not have their listening impacted by this work, however, if you are having trouble listening, some other options are available.
You can still listen using the player at the top of this page. You can also listen via the free WCMU Mobile App for your Apple or Android device.
We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause. This work will allow WCMU to continue serving the mid-Michigan in the weeks, months, and years ahead.
