Central Stage welcomes Dr. Christopher Chapman, Director of Bands, and Dr. James Batcheller, Associate Director of Bands at the CMU School of Music. In April 2022, the CMU Symphonic Wind Ensemble performed at the College Band Directors’ National Association Conference in Madison, Wisconsin. The ensemble was chosen by audition from schools around the Midwest.
This month, Central Stage is proud to present selections from that outstanding presentation, including music by Percy Grainger, David Gillingham, Ralph Vaughan Williams and Zhou Tian.
