General Assignment ReporterEllie Frysztak is a newsroom intern for WCMU.
She obtained her undergraduate degree from Marquette University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Law Studies. Frysztak went on to work in Public Defense as an Investigator in the Kansas City area for four years.
She’s currently back at school, getting her master's in journalism from the University of Missouri. Her dream is to become a public media visual journalist after graduation in May of 2025.
In addition to her studies, Frysztak is currently a graduate assistant for the Pictures of the Year competition, a communications law teaching assistant, and a staff photographer for the Columbia Missourian.
