Michiganders can submit their designs for the 2026 "I voted" sticker contest.

The Secretary of State, Jocelyn Benson, announced on Tuesday the return of the contest for the 2026 midterm elections.

“Our first-ever ‘I Voted’ sticker design contest in 2024 was a massive success,” Benson said in the press release.

The 2024 contest resulted in nine winners in total, with three in each category.

The categories are elementary, middle school, high school and general entry.

"This year we look forward to seeing the creative ways Michiganders of all ages celebrate democracy," Benson said in the press release.

Designs must include the words "I voted," must be nonpartisan and have to be original pieces of work.

Submissions are due at 5 p.m. on May 1, and can be submitted online through an official entry form.

Public voting will take place in June, and winners will be announced later in the summer.

"Submit your entry to help us continue the tradition and get voters excited to cast their ballot this fall," Benson said in the press release.
