Mackinac Bridge Authority officials say there’s been an uptick in traffic approaching the end of the month.

CEO/Executive Secretary, Kim Nowack said travel numbers at the bridge are almost back to normal, averaging at 95 percent.

"We’ve risen quite a bit from the beginning of the pandemic when we were down around 30 some percent of our traffic," Nowack said. "We’re almost getting up to those 2019 numbers now."

Sunday, August 2: Headed south from 10 a.m. until around 5 p.m.
