Immerse yourself in live jazz music by Djangophonic, dancing, and heartfelt conversation, while enjoying local food and drinks by Wineguys. This will be a testament to the beauty of Walloon and the collective passion that drives the work of WLAC. Whether you are a long-time WLAC supporter or joining us for the first time, Love Walloon is an experience designed for everyone who shares a deep love for our lake and its future. The Little Traverse Historical Museum invites the community to its annual Corn Roast Cookout on August 15th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., held in the museum park. This festive event promises an evening of delicious food and fun, all while supporting the museum’s mission to enrich the community by preserving, showcasing, and sharing the history of the Little Traverse Bay area. Proceeds will benefit the Little Traverse Historical Society.
Real Estate One, this year’s premier sponsor, will be joining museum volunteers in serving a delectable menu that includes brats, hot dogs, roasted corn, tomato salad, coleslaw, watermelon, potato salad, and brownies. Refreshments such as pop and water will be available, and beer and wine can be purchased separately.
