Terrarium Workshop

Terrarium Workshop
Led by Paige Rothaus, this workshop guides participants through designing and crafting your very own miniature ecosystem. The workshop begins with an introduction to the fascinating art of terrarium-making, covering the essential elements required for a thriving micro-garden. You'll learn about the different types of plants suitable for terrariums, their care requirements, and the art of arranging them to create visually stunning compositions encapsulating the beauty of nature within a glass enclosure.
At the end of the workshop, you'll leave with a one-of-a-kind terrarium that serves as a miniature sanctuary, effortlessly adding a touch of greenery and tranquility to any space. Whether you display it on your desk, shelf, or as a centerpiece in your home, your terrarium will be a constant reminder of your creativity and connection with nature.
No prior experience or green thumbs are necessary—this workshop is designed for beginners and plant enthusiasts alike. The workshop is open to all ages, and all supplies and plants are included. Students can select between an enclosed terrarium with high-humidity plants or an open succulent terrarium.
The workshop will be held from 10a-12 pm Saturday, June 7, in the Idonea Hersee Classroom at 111 E. Broadway, Mt. Pleasant.
