Enhance your journaling practice with art! Students, bring your journals and take notes with artist Matthew Grimmer as he lectures and demonstrates his own techniques, which make drawing simple and fun! Learn to further tell your personal story through the creation of short comics using simple lines and shapes. Students are expected to take personal notes and drawings while the teacher is demonstrating. Just bring a sketchbook or journal and an open mind!

This workshop will be held from 2-3 pm on Sunday, November 2, in the Idonea Hersee Classroom at Art Reach, 111 E. Broadway in Mount Pleasant

Recommended age: 16 and up
