We celebrate Earth Day on this week’s Homespun with music from the sources and progenitors of this Earth- Woody Guthrie, Solas, John Prine, and Tim O’Brien. We’ll also celebrate the life of 5-string banjo master and founder of the Seldom Scene, Ben Eldridge, who passed away recently.

This week on “The Juke Joint” Robert Barclay spins music by the 2024 Blues Hall of Fame inductees. This includes Sugar Pie DeSanto, O.V. Wright, Odetta, Scrapper Blackwell, Lurrie Bell, Jimmy Rushing and Lil’ Ed & the Blues Imperials. He also notes a classic album by Bobby Bland and singles titles by Junior Parker, Billy Boy Arnold, Jazz Gillum, Gatemouth Brown and Lil Green that are being honored.
