Air show faces uncertainty after 48 years of flying model planes in Traverse City

The Traverse Area Model Pilots Society has been gathering in a field near Traverse City for 48 years. But as development expands, their field could be sold.

Blight Elimination Program funds still benefitting northeast Michigan

In February, Governor Gretchen Whitmer dispersed the remainder of funds from the Blight Elimination Program throughout Michigan. Northeast Michigan last received funds in September 2023, and the region is still seeing the positive effects today.
