Mask Mandate

Huizenga cites ending of mask mandates across the country.

Masks are encouraged, but not required, at Michigan polls and clerk's offices.

The Michigan Senate on Tuesday passed a series of bills that would ban vaccine and mask mandates to stop the spread of COVID-19 in schools. 

The Kent County’s Board of Commissioners sought legal second opinions after the county’s public health officer required young students wear masks in school.

The Benzie Central School Board will now require masks to be worn at K-12 schools, as mandated by the local health department.

Over a thousand angry parents attended the Kent County Board of Commissioners meeting Thursday to voice their disapproval of the recent public school mask mandate.
