Impaired Driving

Almost 25% of fatal crashes in the state are drug-related. Legislation languishing in a Senate committee would allow officers to use roadside tests to determine whether to arrest someone for drugged driving, just as such tests are used for suspected drunken drivers.

Michigan State Police are working with local departments this holiday season to prevent crashes on the roads.
