CMU English professor Darrin Doyle celebrates the 10th anniversary of his re-issued collection of short stories

CMU's Robert Fanning has gone through the parts of the creative process now for a fifth time. His latest published collection is titles “All We Are Given We Cannot Hold.”

After CMU students get that knowledge in nature experience up north, they bring their newfound creative inspiration back to the main campus in Mt Pleasant.

For the past two summers, CMU students have been able nurture creativity on Beaver Island. Robert and Denise Fanning teach poetry and art in two special one-week classes.
