…Barry Poss started the independent record label “Sugar Hill” in the early 1980’s and proceeded to become a very important part of the Folk and Bluegrass music scene. He recently passed away, and this week on Homespun we spend the hour celebrating his life through the music he produced and distributed!

Tom Ball is the host of 'Homespun' on WCMU, and is also a marketing representative for the station. He is responsible for securing program sponsorships for both WCMU Public Radio and WCMU Public Television.
