This week on Destination Out, host Mike Johnston features cellist Abdul Wadud, who passed away a few weeks ago. He plays recordings featuring Julius Hemphill, Anthony Davis, Black Unity Trio, along with some of Wadud's solo works and much more.
He'll also honor Verve and C.T.I record label producer Creed Taylor. We'll hear albums he produced that feature Bill Evans, Stan Getz, and Randy Weston.
