Central Stage: Dr. Fangye Sun and Friends - July 1, 2022

This month on Central Stage, Sue Gamble welcomes Dr. Fangye Sun, Professor of Violin at the CMU School of Music. Dr. Sun is joined by several of her colleagues in a program that features the Trio No. 1 by Felix Mendelssohn, Jaromolina, by Ricardo Lorenz, Meditation from “Thais” by Jules Massenet, Danza, by Jose-Luis Maurtua and Caprice for Three Violins by Frederick Hermann performed by Dr. Sun’s students.

Sue Gamble, Professor Emerita of music education, taught at Central Michigan University from 1978 to 2016. She also served as chair of the department of music, 1983-1990. She previously taught general music and choral music in grades 7-12 in central Pennsylvania.
