The Clark Historical Library on the campus of Central Michigan University is home to thousands of artifacts - papers from Michigan's first settlers, historic photographs of the Soo locks, and even some rare and historically significant first edition books.
Today, we begin highlighting some of these amazing artifacts, in a new series called "Let's Go Back - Stories from the Clarke Historical Library. In our first installment, we look at the library's Alladin Homes collection.
This video was produced and edited by WCMU's Matt Ozanich. You can hear new installments of 'Let's Go Back' on the first and third Wednesday of every month on WCMU, and watch the video companions at WCMU.org.
