Drummer Milford Graves who passed away a week ago at the age of 79.
He was one of the first pioneers of free Jazz drumming in the 1960's. I'll be spinning various
recordings that he's on and will also include some interview segments from a 1992 Coda Magazine interview
that I conducted back then.
Including recordings with;
Albert Ayler, New York Art Quartet, Sun Ra, Don Pullen, Giuseppi Logan, Nina Simone, Anthony Braxton etc.
