2020 Hopeful Kirsten Gillibrand is visiting Michigan for the second time since she officially started running for president. Gillibrand will make stops in Oakland County, Flint and Lansing.

New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand stopped in Michigan Friday on a multi-city bus tour through rust-belt states addressing what she calls President Trump’s “Broken Promises.”

She talked about gun violence with activists and voters at a church in Bloomfield Hills. Gillibrand says she’s back in Michigan because this is where the ‘change’ voters are.

“Because these are specific locations that voted for President Trump and felt that he represented their values. He lied to them and I want to make sure voters here fully understand that I’ve got their back. And I’ve got a vision for this country that will transform the economy and opportunities for their kids.”

Gillibrand will return to Michigan in two weeks for the second presidential debate. But, she doesn’t yet have enough individual donors or fundraising numbers to qualify for the third debate in September.
