Democratic Massachusetts Senator and presidential hopeful Elizabeth Warren made her first Michigan campaign stop in Detroit Tuesday.

Warren outlined a plan to boost manufacturing through investments in climate change-fighting technologies.

“Warren pitched her plan for the U-S to invest 400 billion dollars in research and development of green technologies.

She says that would create jobs and help the U-S and world meet aggressive carbon emissions targets.

Warren also outlined a broader vision for the economy.

She says right now, Washington favors the interests of big multi-national corporations.

“That is corruption pure and simple, and we need to call it out for what it is.”

Warren says she would fight that through anti-corruption and economic policies, like a wealth tax on the ultra-rich.
