
Masha Smahliuk
Newsroom InternMasha Smahliuk is a newsroom intern for WCMU. Smahliuk is going into her senior year at Central Michigan University, majoring in journalism with minors in creative writing, political science and advertising. After she graduates, her goal is to work as an international reporter. Her long-term goals are to work as a news editor and open her own publishing business. Smahliuk's favorite Michigan destination is Petoskey due to her love of coffeeshops, bookstores and the lake.

Art Seen Festival took place June 1 through June 2. Midland community joined to paint the mural that will be put up on Pizza Sam's building.
