"JetBlue will provide seasonal service to and from Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) beginning Thursday, June 5, 2025." wrote Cherry Capital Airport in a social media post.

The skies will be a little bit more blue this summer in northern Michigan after JetBlue announced Wednesday it will be adding flights at the Cherry Capital Airport in Traverse City.

The airline will be the seventh at the airport where travelers will be able to fly directly to and from Boston Logan International Airport beginning June 5.

"And then it will go on Thursday, Saturday and Sundays as that pattern, and it will complete its seasonal service on October 26th," said Cherry Capital Airport CEO Kevin Klein.

During the seasonal cycle of flights, JetBlue planes will depart from Boston at 9:40 a.m. and arrive in Traverse City at noon. That plane will then depart from Traverse City at 12:45 p.m. and land back in Boston a little before 3:00 p.m.

Although JetBlue flights at the Cherry Capital Airport are only flying to and from Boston, Klein told WCMU the airport is looking to add other stops as their new partnership continues to evolve.

"Their network is growing," Klein said. "Opportunities to go to other hubs for them like New York JFK, Fort Lauderdale, and some others are going to be opportunities we're gonna work towards in the future."
