President of the Michigan Board of Education announces bid for 2024 Senate Race

Another Democrat launched her campaign for Michigan’s open U-S Senate seat in 20-24.

Pamela Pugh [PEW] is the president of the Michigan Board of Education.

She officially kicked off her campaign to replace outgoing Senator Debbie Stabenow during an event in Flint today [TUES].

Pugh said, “This campaign is about making sure that the voices of Flint...and the communities like Flint across this country...that those voices will never be ignored again.”

Pugh joins a growing field of Democrats...including Congresswoman Elissa Slotkin....former state representative Leslie Love....businessman Nasser Beydoun and attorney Zack Burns. 

Businessman Michael Hoover and Nikki Snyder...a member of the Michigan State Board of Education.... have launched campaigns for the Republican nomination.
