Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s office announced a new community electric vehicle toolkit on Tuesday.
The online toolkit has information on EV infrastructure, grant opportunities, and community EV readiness highlighted with interactive maps.
The toolkit was developed by the Michigan Office of Mobility and Electrification, and the Southeast Michigan Council of Governments.
"The toolkit will help us meet our statewide goals of building 100,000 electric vehicle chargers by 2030 to support 2 million electric vehicles on the road," Whitmer said in a written release.
The toolkit can be found here.
