Michigan State University officials are planning to reopen one of the two campus buildings where last month's mass shooting took place.
On February 13th, a gunman entered Berkey Hall and then the MSU Student Union, killing three students and injuring five others. The two buildings have been closed since then.
University spokesperson Dan Olsen says the Union will reopen in a limited capacity on Monday. "We are providing additional safety measures for that space. The Union will be under restricted access similar to other campus buildings across campus from 6pm to 7:30am," he explained.
Berkey Hall will remain closed for the remainder of 2023.
