Newaygo County family missing, police ask for help

Michigan State Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a Newaygo county family that went missing early this week.

Fremont Police Chief Tim Rodwell said Tony Cirigliano, 51, called 9-1-1 Sunday saying he had information about the September 11 attacks. Police said he was ”exhibiting paranoid behavior”.

"It caused my officers to go over there to have a conversation just to make sure everyone’s okay," Rodwell said. "It’s a kind of a strange police report to make, especially shortly after midnight.

No one in the house was in imminent danger and they left, police said. But later that day Tony, his wife Suzette, 51, and their sons Brandon, 19, and Noah, 15, went missing.

"He was self-employed," Rodwell said. "If they had any type of business dealings, or any type of contact with Suzette or Tony, to reach out to us. And with all of that information, we’re hoping to get clues just to make sure that Tony and everyone else is okay."

Police said the family left their pets and a grandmother suffering from dementia. They also left their phones in their house, which family members say was uncharacteristic.

Police said the missing family might be driving a silver 2005 Toyota Sienna minivan. They ask anyone with information to call the Fremont Police Department or 911.
