North Ottawa Community Health System is joining Trinity Health Michigan.
When the calendar flips to October, North Ottawa Community Health System will become Trinity Health Grand Haven. NOCHS signed an agreement becoming the ninth hospital system joining Trinity Health Michigan.
A community hospital, North Ottawa Care Center at Heartwood Lodge and its 81 beds will continue providing outpatient and urgent care. The 650 employees and health care providers will continue serving lakeshore patients.
A strategic alliance was formed between NOCHS and Trinity Health Muskegon in 2016 and in 2018 North Ottawa Physician Group joined Trinity Health Medical Group.
As one system, the mission is improving primary and healthcare services along with access to specialists.
