The Republican candidate for Michigan governor has chosen her running mate.
Tudor Dixon picked former state Representative Shane Hernandez for her lieutenant governor candidate.
Hernandez chaired the state House Appropriations Committee for two years. He lost a bid for U-S Congress in 20-20.
Dixon described Hernandez as -- quote -- "a conservative Republican who believes in limited government, fiscal responsibility, and individual liberties."
Hernandez says he's confident he and Dixon will defeat incumbent Democratic Governor Gretchen Whitmer in November.
