Jury selection begins on Tuesday for the second federal trial for two men accused of plotting to kidnap governor Gretchen Whitmer.

The men were arrested in an FBI raid almost two years ago. A total of 14 men were charged over the alleged plot.

Two pleaded guilty in federal court.

Four went to trial, and two of those were found not guilty.

But, for the other two — Barry Croft and Adam Fox — there was a mistrial. Jurors couldn't agree on the charges.

So, starting Tuesday morning at 8:30 am, a second pool of jurors will be called into the federal courthouse in Grand Rapids for a second trial for Croft and Fox.
