Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel is expressing concerns over some Republican candidates.

The Michigan Republican Party will host its endorsement convention this weekend to determine who will run for state attorney general and secretary of state.

Attorney General Dana Nessel says she is concerned that some of those candidates may not respect state election laws.

“You will have people who are totally invested in ensuring that Donald Trump gets whatever it is that he wants irrespective of what that is and that includes of course him being made president even if he loses the election.”

A.G. candidate Matt DePerno and Secretary of State candidate Kristina Karamo have both supported the lie that Donald Trump had the 2020 presidential election stolen from him.
