Holiday travelers in Michigan are getting a small present at the gas pump.
average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gas is $3.14, five cents lower than last week.
Gasoline prices have been sliding since hitting a peak in early November of $3.43 a gallon.
While prices are declining, they’re still running about a dollar higher than this time last year.
More than three million Michiganders are expected to hit the road between December 23rd and January 2nd to celebrate the holidays.
