West Michigan sports bra company expands headquarters

Shefit is expanding its Hudsonville headquarters.

The maker of what a line of athletic wear called "the Ultimate Sports Bra" is experiencing triple-digit growth, according to a press release.

Shefit patented a “Zip. Cinch. Lift” sports bra in 2010. The husband-and-wife design team was featured on the TV show "Shark Tank." Since then, sales have spiked. Women’s Wear Daily says Shefit is “on track to compete with Under Armour and Nike.”

The company has purchased property in the Jamestown Commerce Center near Hudsonville’s 32nd Street and Quincy Street. This is where Shefit will expand to a 75,000 square foot new national headquarters, the company said in a press release.

Bob Moylan, Shefit's CEO, said the new location will allow for expanding the company's product lines. “As we expand SHEFIT’s product portfolio and overall reach, we are confident our new headquarters will accommodate this growth for years to come, and we’re excited to be doing it all in West Michigan.”
