The Grand Traverse Regional Community Foundation recently launched its new fund focused on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.Kristina Pepelko is the communications manager for the foundation.
She says it’s part of their mission to improve quality of life in the region for ALL people
“This fund is a way to be really intentional about that, to make sure we are being inclusive of those who have traditionally been underserved in our community”
The fund is starting with $15-thousand dollars.
The money will be distributed through grants to support organizations led by people with diverse identities, along with others promoting equity and inclusion.
