Michigan House is being investigated for violating COVID rules

Nearly a week after Rudy Giuliani testified before Michigan state lawmakers about the Presidential election, the Michigan House of Representatives is being investigated for violating COVID workplace rules.

The Michigan Occupational Safety & Health Administration is investigating the state House of Representatives following an employee complaint.

At two committee hearings last week, several attendees, some lawmakers, and Trump campaign lawyers Rudy Giuliani and Jenna Ellis went unmasked. Both Giuliani and Ellis have tested positive for the coronavirus.

The capital county health officer has urged lawmakers to enforce face coverings and social distancing at their hearings. Yet, that didn’t happen.

Now, the state House of Representatives has cancelled their session for the week after a staffer tested positive.
