There are reports of chaotic confrontations at the TCF center in Detroit where polls are being counted. Election officials told dozens of challengers – both Democrats and Republicans – that they could not reenter the room because it was over-capacity.
“They're not gonna steal Michigan from us. Michigan was turning red. They're dying. They can't take it. Michigan will never be blue anymore.”
“Are you a certified election challenger or a poll watcher?”
“No, but they said we could all come here and watch them.”
People outside the ballot counting area and pounded on the doors and windows, shouting “Let us in” and “Stop the count”. Police stepped in to move the crowd back from the doors.
