One of the defendants in the alleged plot to kidnap the governor has been given a 100 thousand dollar bond.

Pete Musico was being held on a 10 million dollar bond. But after reviewing some of the evidence in the case, his lawyer argued Musico didn’t participate in the alleged plot after July.

The attorney argued Musico didn’t want to go along with the plot hatched by another man charged in the case.

Gregory  Townsend is a prosecutor with the Attorney General’s office.

“Your honor, I would indicate the defendant Musico came up with his own plan," said Townsend. "He was unhappy at certain times with Adam Fox’s plan, which was called plan A.”

The judge in the case said if Musico can post bond, he can be released pending the trial. But his movements will be tracked with a GPS monitor.
