Calling it a “history making decision” Michigan US Senator Debbie Stabenow reacts to the choice of Kamala Harris as presumptive democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s vice presidential running mate.

Michigan US Senator Debbie Stabenow says Kamala Harris is a good friend of hers who came to the state to help her campaign for office a few years ago. She says they’ve worked together in many different ways, and believes the choice of Harris on the democractic presidential ticket is a win-win for Michigan.

“I kind of feel in Michigan this is a 2-fer for us because we get to keep our great Governor and they have this amazing woman as a vice presidential candidate,” said Stabenow.

Senator Stabenow says she cares very deeply and plans to campaign for the democratic presidential ticket as much as she can given the current global health crisis.
