AMBER ALERT: Grand Traverse girl missing

Grand Traverse County Sherrif

UPDATE MON. 7/20/20 at 6:40am: The Grand Traverse Sheriff's Department says Anna Mae Taylor has been found, and more information will be released later today.

PREVIOUS REPORTING: Police are asking for the public's help in locating a missing 15-year-old who they say may be in danger. An Amber Alert was issued Sunday night for Anna Mae Taylor from Garfield Township in Grand Traverse county.

The Grand Traverse Sheriff’s Office said Taylor may be in the company of Brandon Reyes, also from Garfield township. Neither the family nor law enforcement have been able to contact or determine the whereabouts of either.

They were last seen together early Sunday morning in Garfield Township. Police said there's evidence indicating Reyes may have assaulted Taylor.

Reyes is believed to be armed and dangerous. Police said he’s driving a silver, 2006 Chrysler 300 passenger car -- with a personalized Michigan license plate that reads, “B-R-E-Y-E-S”.

Anna Taylor is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall, 110 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. Brandon Reyes is 5 feet 6 inches tall, 110 pounds, with brown hair and eyes.

Anyone who has information should call Grand Traverse Central Dispatch at (231) 922-4550.
