WCMU Morning News Roundup - July 8, 2020

On today's Morning News Roundup, Michigan is launching a lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Education over a policy of diverting COVID-19 relief funds from public to private schools. And an attorney is calling for more criminal charges stemming from the death of a 16-year-old in a youth facility in Kalamazoo.

We'll also hear about how job fairs will work in the age of COVID-19, and get reaction from business owners the day after national "Black Out Day."

Mike Horace is WCMU's Radio Program and Operations Manager.
