WCMU Morning News Roundup - May 14, 2020

On today's WCMU Morning News Roundup, some 31,000 state employees will be furloughed, as part of an effort to address a state budget shortfall. And law enforcement is preparing for another armed protest at the state capitol.

We'll also have the latest on an Owosso barber who has been defying the govenror's "Stay Home, Stay Safe" executive order. And we'll hear how General Motors is planning to keep workers safe, as some manufacturing plants prepare to resume production.

And we check in with northern Michigan cherry growers, after several days of below-freezing temperatures at night.

Mike Horace is WCMU's Radio Program and Operations Manager.
