WCMU Morning News Roundup - May 6, 2020

On the Wednesday Morning News Roundup, some activists are concerned about a lack of transparency about the number of inmates infected with COVID-19 at a privately-run federal prison near Baldwin. And the govenror comments on news that a Michigan drugmaker has begun trials of a Coronavirus vaccine.

We also hear about a lawsuit filed by a Republican Congressman challenging Gov. Gretchen Whitmer's "Stay Home, Stay Safe" executive orders. And we find out what it's like to be tested for COVID-19 at a drive-through testing center in northern Michigan.

Mike Horace is WCMU's Radio Program and Operations Manager.
