The Michigan State Police St. Ignace Post is seeking assistance regarding a body found inside a burning vehicle in Mackinac County.
Troopers reposonded to a vehicle fire around 6 a.m Tuesday, July 10th. After extinguishing the fire, a body was found in the vehicle. The person has been identified as Douglas Keivit of Hessel.
The cause of death and what started the fire is still unknown.
